Antigoni will provide on-site advice regarding color, furniture placement and selection, window treatments, fabric choices, flooring options, art placement, lighting, as well as guidance as it relates to all renovations.

​

The design consultation is a “stand-alone” service. You are not required to retain us for the duration of your particular project. In some cases we might advise you that the project is not feasible and can suggest other ways to accomplish your goals. Lastly, we will arm you with useful knowledge and assist you in making an informed decision about your design options.

​

With only a few hours, together we can make great headway toward infusing new ideas and structure to your room. Adding fresh colors and a few simple accessories can bring the quick change you’ve been craving. It’s amazing how transforming your surroundings can invigorate you.

For clients who could benefit from custom updates to their room, I am affiliated with master craftspeople who specialize in creating distinctive accents to make your home stand out above the rest.

These services include custom woodworking, murals and trompe l’oeil, faux finishing, custom drapery and bedding just to name a few.

You know your room is missing something, but you’re just not sure what it is. And, you may be hesitant to spend a lot on a piece of furniture if you’re not even sure it’s what you need or will cherish in the long-term.

My shopping appointments can work many ways. First, I will meet with you to mutually decide what you would like to have or what would bring extra emphasis to your room. We’ll also talk about your budget range and timeframe for acquiring the new piece. Then, we can either shop together or I can shop independently to offer you recommendations on purchases of furnishings and accessories to bring new focal points to your room. Through my sources, rest assured that you will get only the best selection of products at the lowest prices, thereby stretching your budget further.

HOW IT WORKS…

 

For the One Day Room Makeover, I initially meet with you in your home and ask you questions that will help guide me in uncovering your personal style and design goals. On the day of the scheduled makeover, you are encouraged to leave your home while the transformation takes place. When you return, you will be greeted by a complete brand new look without the trouble or expense of a full-scale interior renovation. The result is not as much about each individual piece of furniture in your room as much as it is the creative fusion of elements and the way they are combined that produce dramatic effects.

 

Central to this process is the validation of the choices the client has made regarding their purchases, design style, and belongings as I work to enhance them, creating a cohesive, professionally-designed look that they are proud to show-off.

REAL ESTATE ENHANCEMENT

 

Whether you are a realtor or home owner, I can offer assistance in preparing your home for sale (also referred to as “staging” or “home staging”) to help you visually broaden the appeal of the property and obtain its maximum market value.

​

Realty enhancement involves many processes, including de-personalizing a home so that it appeals to a broad range of buyer tastes and preferences. The desired effect is to help potential buyers visualize themselves and their belongings in the home. Other processes include evaluating your home for needed repairs or changes, proper placement of your furnishings to enhance the home’s positive features, followed by accessorizing to add props, furniture or other touches that improve the aesthetics of the home.
